haha i'm originally trying to programme myself to sleep at 12midnight too..but looks like it'll be 12.30am for me tonight then..haha okokay TRYYYY! :b
COLD. one-word. enough said.
well..so today was first day of exams for me.
for those of you who do not know yet, my exams are STRANGE! :\
it's like monday there's two parts one after the other in the morning:
(i) written paper based on new problem statement [45mins]
(ii) group discussion for the new problem statement as per usual T1 style [1hr45mins]
then friday comes the killer two parts one in the morning and the other in the afternoon:
(a) written paper (i) section a - questions on learning issues from new problem statement (ii) section b - questions on learning issues from all the problem statements in semester one [2hrs]
(b) spoken assessment which is something like an interview setting, with two content experts asking you questions based on the learning issue that you are assigned to on monday that you are by now supposed to be an expert in [agonizing-idk-how-many-mins]
haha understand now?(:
okay, back to what i was saying..
today was such a JOKE!
problem statement:
mrs lee was walking by herself along a small path in a country park one late evening. suddenly, she felt she had stepped on something soft. when she looked down, she saw a snake by her feet. mrs lee was shocked, slipped and fell on some rocks on the side of the path. when she recovered consciousness after 1-2 minutes, she found her heart beating like crazy. she was frightened and ran along the path to a main road. there was a small store at the side of the road where mrs lee sat down and ordered a cold drink. when she saw herself in a mirror there, she found herself looking very pale and the left side of her face was bruised. when she returned home later in the night, she had difficulty in opening her mouth. as a result, she could not carry out her usual daily oral hygiene practice.
(phew! there it is! so nice right, i typed it all out for you..alphabet by alphabet!)
now your turn to tell me, what kind of problem statement is this?!
usually the poor fella will go see a doctor instead of dentist if this happens right?
plus, oral hygiene for that night usual is not likely to be the first concern of that fella right?
haha what do you think are the ideas and learning issues that can be generated from this..?(:

i had a part on the snake okay!! hahaha like i talked about how the snake could be poisonous and since she stepped on it, i would most likely have bitten her and injected venom in the process too..so need to check for open wounds and stuff!
what kind of a person or dentist-to-be thinks of such comical things?
hahah hope the marker decides to give me error-carry-forward (ecf) upon reading my script since it has provided some humour for him/her and liven up his/her day or something of that sort!

well..but to make up for that, the rest of the day i spent at the main library with jocelyn and eileen..S-T-U-D-Y-I-N-G!
hahaha so proud of myself!(:

like from about 4pm all the way until 11pm when the library closes! of course we went out for dinner halfway and we chatted and used computer for other nonsense abit though..but still..!

aiyoo of all things..this one has such a broad scope! plus, i don't like blood! :\
went to borrow a textbook on physiology by guyton and hall and typed it out to summarize the relevant parts of it..took the entire library studying time today! bleh! but hopefully by typing it out, it also went into my head so that at least it's of some use and i can remember it!
anyway, mentioned that book because i wanna tell you it super thick and with tiny words! hmpfh! actually wanted to take a photo of it to post up here just now, but i returned it alr..too heavy and lazy to carry back home -.-
how ah? i scared for oral assessment on friday man!
can't bluff my way through like how it can be done in written papers..! sad! somebody HELPPPPP!
